Useful Tips about Organic Mold Removers

When most of us think about cleaning mold from a home, we envision the circus tent over the house pumping in gallons of putrid stinking poison that would kill everything and anything in the home. Well, what happens after the tent is lifted? All of that poison is now settled all over your home, on surfaces on books and sheets, blankets and kitchen appliances.

This simply means cleaning over everything once again, doubling all the labor, pain and time involved. So, instead of having to pay twice for something, how about trying a more organic way of removing mold from your home?

It must be noted that this isn't suggested if you have black mold in your home or if you have a huge mold issue that involves more than a single room, because those issues need to be taken care of by a professional. But if you just have a little bit of mold, you can try using organic mold removers.

Instead of going out and buying the most expensive mold cleaners that you have no idea what’s gone into them, how about making your own? You can easily use products that you already have around your home.

The best organic mold remover that you can make is by taking 2 cups of spring water and then adding 2 tablespoons of tea tree oil in it. Tea tree oil is a broad-spectrum fungicide, which means that it will kill most of the fungus and mold that it comes into contact with right away. Tea tree oil is inexpensive and can be found in most health food stores. Remember, it has an odor that might take a few days to dissipate.

Cladosporium Mold

Some people do not like the odor at all and that could really put a cramp on using this organic mold remover. Once this organic mold remover has been placed and given a few minutes to saturate the mold, you can wipe away the dead spores making sure that you do this every few days until you see an improvement.




You can also just use all organic vinegar as well. If you put this vinegar into a spray bottle and spray it onto the mold, you will be killing over 82% of the mold and mildew on contact, and the rest you will be able to actually just wash away with a clean cloth. You don’t even have to wipe it away (if you can deal with the smell) until it dries. When it’s dry, it will no longer have that annoying odor and will really help you get rid of the mold in your home.

Additionally, there are organic mold removers made with beneficial microorganisms that do a great job of getting rid of mold and these are well worth looking into. Home made organic mold removers work well and are easy to make and beneficial microorganism based mold removers are very effective and inexpensive as well.
